Torrington

Torrington is located in Goshen County (of which it is the county seat) on the southeastern border of Wyoming and Nebraska along US Highway 85 on the banks of the North Platte River.

The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 6,024, an increase of 373 since 1990.
