Ludlow

Ludlow is located in Windsor County, 23 miles west of Claremont, on the banks of the Black River near the Okemo Mountain Ski Area in southern Vermont.

Ludlow offers views of fertile farmlands, lakes and mountain ranges. Residents of Ludlow pioneered the manufacture of reworked wool to compensate for cloth shortages during the Civil War. The village has retained its New Englad charm. There are many examples of early architecture styles in town.

Nearby Plymouth Notch Historic District features many buildings, including the birthplace, boyhood home, and grave of President Calvin Coolidge.
