Rockport

In Aransas County, Rockport is located just northeast of Corpus Christi between Aransas Pass and Fulton on Hwy 35 near Copano Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

Birding, fishing and boating are large tourists attractions in the area, and are the mainstay of the economy here, with over 7,000 year-around residents reported in 2000.
