York

York is located in southeastern Pennsylvania within York County, of which it is the county seat. It is south of Harrisburg along Interstate 83 near the Susquehanna River and the Maryland state line.

York served as the first capitol of the U.S.A in 1778 and 1778, and it was here that the Continental Congress adopted the Articles of Confederation, forming the United States of America. Also, the first national Thanksgiving was declared in York in November 1777.

Today, York has one of the largest collections of mural paintings on the East Coast. Also take a tour of the Harley Davidson plant to see the manufacturing of these motorcycles in person.

York is part of the York, Pennsylvania metro area.
