Lincoln City

Lincoln City is located in Lincoln County north of Newport, between Gleneden Beach and Otis, along Highway 101 and the Pacific Ocean coastline.

Five surrounding communities merged in 1964 to form Lincoln City. These former cities were Oceanlake, Delake, Taft and the communities of Cutler City and Nelscott.

Lincoln City offers visitors seven miles of public beach, Devils Lake State Park, as well as boating and Fishing (plentiful in the surrounding area).

Built in 1914, Drift Creek covered bridge is one of the oldest bridges in Oregon. Lincoln City is supported by thriving tourism-related activities. Tourists may choose from a variety of activities, including beachcombing, crabbing, boating, hiking, fishing, hunting and shooting, shopping, kite flying, sandcastle building, whale watching and recreation at the popular Chinook Winds Casino and Convention Center.
