Garibaldi

Garibaldi is located in Tillamook County, north of Tillamook, between Bay City and Rockaway Beach along Highway 101. The town also overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Tilamook Bay.

Garibaldi has had many faces over the last century. This picturesque town was originally a Tillamook Indian whaling village, then later explored by such adventurers as Drake, Mears, and Cook, used as a major lumber shipping port, and now a new exploration is just beginning as tourism takes on a different direction in Garibaldi.

You'll still find world famous fishing in Ghost Hole, every day the tide recedes to reveal fertile clamming ground, and the waters continue to yield some of the best crab ever tasted. Visit the Memorial Lumberman's Park and step back in time to an era of steam engines and "logging donkeys"; or visit the Garibaldi Museum for a Tillamook County history lesson. Many visitors and residents alike escape to the pier for the unbelievable scenery.
