Central Point is located northwest of Ashland, between Medford and White City, off of Interstate 5 near Agate Lake and the Rogue River National Forest. This community was named for the intersection of two stagecoach routes. It is the home of Jackson County Exhibition Park, which is the site of fairs, shows, and rodeos. Central Point is within minutes of events like the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Britt Festival, and is now part of the contiguous urban area centered around Medford.
