Located on the western shore of Lake Ontario midway between Toronto and Hamilton. A popular destination for both sail and power boaters. One of golf's premier events, the Bell Canadian Open Golf Championship, is held here in early September. The Waterfront Festival draws visitors from around the world in June, and the Jazz Festival is held in July with performance by regional and international jazz musicians.
