Hinckley is located in northeastern Ohio in Medina County 20 miles south of Cleveland about 5 miles east of Brunswick.

This area is a golfer's mecca in that there are 5 public 18-hole layouts to choose from including Hinckley Hills Golf Course, Ironwood Golf Course, Pine Hills Golf Club, Skyland Golf Course and Valleaire Golf Club.
