Lakes and Gardens Region

The Lakes and Gardens Region of North Dakota is home to Sioux and Chippewa Indians. It lies directly north of the Coteaus and Prairies Region, and abounds with marvelous lakes, thick forests, and the scenic Turtle Mountains.

Boating and fishing are popular here, and the region is an important breeding ground for ducks and geese.
