Bryson City

Bryson City is located in Swain County (of which it is the county seat) west of Asheville, between Cherokee and Nantahala along US Highway 19 on the banks of the Tuckasegee River near Whittier, Dillsboro, Almond, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Cherokee Indian Reservation, Fontana Lake, and within the Nantahala National Forest.
