Long Branch is located in Monmouth County south of Newark between Highlands Beach and Asbury Park along Highway 36 near the Gateway National Recreation Area. Situated at the Atlantic Ocean, Long Branch is close to the easternmost point in New Jersey. Nearby are Monmouth Race Track, Fort Monmouth, and oceanpor.
