Frenchtown is located in Hunterdon County, in the Skylands Region, west of Baptistown and Flemington, where State Highway 12 meets Highway 29 on the banks of the Delaware River near the Pennsylvania state line. Frenchtown is part of the Middlesex-Somerset-Hunterdon, New Jersey metro area.
