Livingston

The seat of Park County, Livingston is located 21 miles east of Bozeman between Birsbin and Bozeman Pass along I-90 on the banks of the Yellowstone River near Gallatin National Forest.

Downtown Livingston, a designated historic district on the National Register, encompasses 436 buildings, most within walking distance of one another. With the river flowing through town, Livingston is an anglers' heaven.

The city was established in 1882 as "Clark City," in honor of William Clark of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Clark stopped and rested his men along the Yellowstone River during his exploration of the area.
