Ennis

Ennis is located in Madison County 14 miles east of Virginia City between McAllister and Varney along Hwy 287 on the banks of the Madison River near Ennis Lake and Beaverhead National Forest.

Visitors will find nearly three million acres of publicly accessible national forest lands surrounding Ennis.

The Ennis National Fish Hatchery on Varney Rd. propagates six strains of rainbow trout that produce 23 million eggs a year for stocking throughout the U.S.
