Park Rapids

Park Rapids is the seat of Hubbard County in the Woods and Waters Region east of Park Rapids where US 71 and Hwy 34 meet. It prides itself in being the gateway to Itasca State Park and home of the historically famous Heartland Trail. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 3,348, an increase of 485 since 1990.
