Fenton

Fenton is in Genesee County, and in the Central Region (part of the Flint, Michigan metro area). You can locate Fenton on US Hwy 23 and also east of Holly on Grange Hall Road.

Fenton was first settled in 1834 by Clark Dibble and originally called Dibbleville. Then in 1837, William Fenton and Robert LeRoy bought a large plot of land there and registered it under the name of Fentonville.

Today, the downtown area retains much of its historical look while also having a town square-style shopping plaza nearby. The Shiawassee River flows over a dam through the park in the center of town.
