Yarmouth Port

Yarmouth Port is located in Barnstable County on Cape Cod along Highway 6A near Barnstable Harbor. Incorporated in 1639 as part of the Plymouth Bay Colony, Yarmouth Port was chosen by many 19th century sea captains as the site for their stately homes. Conservation areas and nature trails in the town spotlight wetlands, salt marshes and some of the Cape's most abundant foliage.
