North Central Region, Kansas, Tourism
North Central Kansas is also known as Post Rock Country for its miles and miles of old stone fence posts, which still stand. The steep and grassy terrain is reminiscent of the English countryside, and was an inspiration to Dr. Brewster Higley, writer of the lyrics "home on the range" (now the state song of Kansas.)
In addition to its fine fishing and hunting, the region boasts the fact that it is home to the town of Smith Center, the exact geographic center of the United States.
Bonosearch allows you to get precise results when you only want to consider a certain kind of Web site in a specific location: city, region, or state. For example, with a regular search engine, if you wanted to find "convention and visitor bureau" as a feature for "Tourism" in North Central Region and Kansas, you would type into the search box something like:
convention and visitor bureau tourism north central region kansas
...and the search engine would look for all four keywords. With Bonosearch, you decide in advance what location you want and what category. The Bonosearch staff has identified hundreds of thousands of URLs belonging to real people, places, businesses, and organizations and identified the location and best category for each, so when you use Bonosearch, you only enter the keyword. Spurious results are mostly avoided.
