Amana

Amana is located in Iowa County in the East Central Region of Iowa, northwest of Iowa City along US Highway 151 near the Iowa River and Lake Macbride State Park. The name derives from the Song of Solomon, meaning "remain faithful".

The city was settled by German families seeking religious freedom.
