Wilmette

Wilmette is located in northeastern Illinois in Cook County just north of Chicago between Evanston and Waukegan along Highway 41 near the shores of Lake Michigan. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 26,219, a decrease of 475 since 1990.

Area recreation includes outings to Wilmette Golf Course which is open to the public.
