Sandpoint

Sandpoint is located at the north end of Lake Pend Oreille. Permanently settled in the 1880s, Sandpoint became an important logging, milling, and rail center. Today Sandpoint is a modern, thriving resort community.

US 95 runs through the city, which is the county seat of Bonner County.
