Rifle

This community is located west of Glenwood Springs at the junction of Interstate 70 and Highway 13. White River National Forest surrounds the community, and good information on the forest can be obtained from the Rifle Visitor Information Center.

Several state parks are nearby offering an abundance of outdoor activities. Spelunking is popular at Rifle Mountain Park's limestone caves, formed by a 50-foot waterfall.
