Frisco

The area where the town of Frisco is now located served as a favorite camp of the Ute Indians for many years. Following the discovery of gold and silver, mines sprouted up over the surrounding countryside. In recent years, the town has turned its focus to serving visiting skiiers to Breckenridge Ski Area, which is only 10 minutes away. Other local recreation opportunities include bicycling, mountain biking, fishing and sailing. Frisco Historic Park features seven restored buildings.

Frisco is located west of Denver on I-70.
