Inland Empire

The Inland Empire is one of the fastest growing areas in the United States. It is also known as the Inland Valley.

The San Bernardino Mountains are the major attraction of the Inland Empire. The skyline is dominated by three major peaks more than 10,000 feet high. The Inland Empire features both the Cleveland and San Bernardino National Forests, two state parks, two state recreations areas, one state historic park and 7,000 foot high Big Bear Lake and mile-high Lake Arrowhead.

Valley temperatures can reach above 100 degrees while remaining cool in the mountains. Most of the precipitation comes in the form of rain during the winter months.

The Inland Empire, located is 30 miles east of Los Angeles and 20 miles west of Palm Springs. It surrounds the communities of Ontario, San Bernardino, Riverside and Idyllwild. The main highways accessing this region are Interstate 15 running north/south and Interstate 10 running east/west.
