Eureka

Eureka, California is a Victorian seaport that is very popular with visitors. Eureka is the next northward stop after Mendocino, Fort Bragg, and the Mendocino Coast. Located in the heart of California's rugged North Coast and giant Redwood forests, guests can enjoy the natural beauty, colorful history, and Victorian architecture.

For visitors looking for redwood trees, Humboldt Redwoods State Park is located about 30 miles south of Eureka. A half hour's drive north of Eureka begins the 300,000 acre Redwood National Park, with miles of hiking trails, beaches, and wildlife.

Eureka is on the North Coast Region in Humboldt County approximately 200 miles north of San Francisco along Highway 101, just north of Humboldt Bay. There is also a Eureka, Missouri.
