Claremont

Claremont is best known as the site of a group of six colleges, collectively known as the Claremont Colleges: Pomona College, Claremont Graduate School, Scripps College, Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd College, and Pitzer College. Claremont is at the extreme eastern edge of Greater Los Angeles, south of Angeles National Forest.

There is also a Claremont, New Hampshire.

Claremont is part of the Los Angeles-Long Beach, California metro area.
