Bodega is located in Sonoma County. Bodega Bay is located on the Pacific Coast just 68 miles North of San Francisco. Bodega Bay become known around the world as the setting for Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds".

It was named after J.F. de la Bodega, Spanish explorer.
