North Vancouver

Once here, follow the Capilano Road to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park, the Salmon Hatchery and Cleveland Dam. Catch the Grouse Mountain Skyride for sprawling views. Drive south on Capilano Road to Edgemont Boulevard where you can browse through an alpine village. Further down Edgemont, turn east on Marine Drive to the Lonsdale Quay Market and Waterfront Park.

Take a short harbor cruise to downtown Vancouver, and then return via "SeaBus". From the Quay drive east on Esplanade and Main Streets to Maplewood Farm, a great experience for kids of all ages. Continue east on Dollarton Highway to idyllic Deep Cove with its ocean parks, bistros and theatre.
