Maple Ridge

Along the banks of the Fraser River is the bustling community, and quiet countryside of Maple Ridge. The town's country roots are apparent in its sawmills, berry farms and fruit-processing plants. Horseback riders can enjoy nearly 100 miles of bridle trails, and Golden Ears Provincial Park is an excellent place for swimming, fishing, camping, biking and hiking.

Other attractions include the massive University of British Columbia Research Forest and the Kanaka Creek Fish Hatchery. Local pioneer history is displayed at the Maple Ridge Museum and the Haney House. Shows and exhibits can be found at the Maple Ridge Art Gallery.

There are more than a dozen Cities in Metropolitan Vancouver BC.
