Ladysmith

With a population of approximately 4,900, Ladysmith lies exactly on the 49th Parallel. Historically, it was a coal port for Nanaimo's mines, and has been restoring its heritage buildings. Summer swimming, picnicking and playground are available at Transfer Beach Park.
