Coquitlam

One of the Tri-Cities, along with Port Coquitlam and Port Moody, Coquitlam houses a French quarter, Maillardville, which celebrates Le Festival du Bois. Paintings, weaving and pottery can be found at Place des Arts. Minnekhada Regional Park boasts wildlife-rich marshes, rocky knolls, and a restored Scottish hunting lodge. One can shop at Coquitlam Centre Mall. The Tri-Cities, located along Highway 7, southeast of Vancouver, are historically linked to the Fraser River and the Canadian Pacific Railway.
