Anahim Lake

A community on Highway 20 in the Chilcotin district of Cariboo Chilcotin Coast, just west of Nimpo Lake. The Lake, on the north side of the town, has magnificent views of the Coast Mountains. Anahim Peak is a pillared cone of ancient volcanic rock. The Anahim Lake Stampede is the area's major social event and is held every July. Daily scheduled air service is available from Vancouver and Bella Coola.
