Mountain View is located in Stone County west of Jonesboro between Allison and Fairfield Bay along Hwy 9, near the Sylamore River and the Ozark National Forest.

Mountain View is located deep in the Ozark Mountains surrounded by mountains and rivers offering boundless outdoor activities including Blanchard Springs Caverns and world class fly fishing. The Central Ozark region offers hunters some of the best white tail deer and wild turkey hunting in the state. There are lots of great campgrounds in the surrounding region for your picking. There are kayak, raft, and canoe white-water/floating adventures nearby, as well as the Syllamo Mountain Bike Trail (over 50 miles in length and one of the top three mountain biking areas in the country).
