Goodyear is located in Maricopa County just west of Phoenix between Buckeye and Tempe along Highway 85.

The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company came to the area in 1916 and continues to play a big part in Goodyear's business development today. However, many other businesses have also found Goodyear to be a great place to start.

The town sits at an elevation of 1,092 feet. The town's southwestern desert climate has a summer high temperature of 106 degrees and winter low temperature of 35 degrees.

There are a variety of attractions in Goodyear. The Wigwam Outlet Stores are a terrific place to spend a day shopping. Another fun place to spend the day is the Duncan's Family Farm. The farm has a petting area, antique tractor display, farmer's market and much more.
